Prince William & Kate Middleton to Visit California This Summer
It will be the first time Kate has traveled to the U.S. and the first time Prince William has visited in official capacity.
The newlyweds are set make their three day visit to The Golden State starting July 8, following an official tour of Canada.
Stateside itinerary for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have not been detailed just yet.
It will be the first time Kate has traveled to the U.S. and the first time Prince William has visited in official capacity.
Now a married man, Prince William was spotted returning to work as a search and rescue helicopter pilot at RAF Valley yesterday (May 4).
The Duke of Cambridge looked to be in good spirits as he drove his new Audi sedan, with his Royal protection officer riding shotgun.
And though his wedding was last Friday, Will isn't planning on honeymooning with his bride Kate Middleton until later this month.
The royal newlyweds are said to be heading off to a plush 4,000 pound-per-night villa in the Indian Ocean.
An insider told press, "The Prince's protection officers flew out two and half weeks ago to check it out and their villa has been booked and confirmed. It's one of the most incredible places you will ever visit and Kate will have the time of her life. It's everything you could want from a honeymoon destination and more - beautiful beaches, tropical seas and complete privacy."
Despite the delay in their honeymoon, Prince William and Kate still made sure to take time for themselves following the big day.
According to a report from Us magazine, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge spent the weekend "privately in the United Kingdom" locale of Anglesey.
An inside source clarified, "William and Kate spent their honeymoon weekend at home in Anglesey. There were rumors that they were in various parts of Europe, but they actually just went home and stayed indoors the whole time. It was a cozy weekend."
As previously announced, the royal couple will kick off their overseas trip with an extensive tour of Canada starting on June 30th.
